GDPR offenders : the next « most wanted » digital felons!

Pablo— Digital Marketer for Badger Inc

A company’s privacy policy must be clear to all. Any person reading it must understand what personal data is collected, why it is collected and how to ask for their correction or destruction. Unfortunately, Pablo is still convinced that his cryptic privacy page will discourage people from exercising their rights.

Bad Call!

Charlie— Data Manager at Whistle LLC

GDPR states that any data breach must be reported ASAP. But companies have also to take measures to protect stored personal data. 200 000 personal profiles in an Excel sheet … Charlie, really?

Think again!

Dolores— Digital Marketer at WeDontCare.com

Dolores, please, what can I say? Don’t break the rules in order to follow the rules! You have to get the user’s consent before sending an email.

Any email!

Billy—Dolores’ co-worker at WeDontCare.com

Well, Billy goes even deeper: Dolores may have been wrong but at least, she tried to be compliant. Billy doesn’t care. He keeps flooding people’s mail boxes as he has always done.

As we all say, playing Monopoly: Go to jail, do no pass … you know the rest!

At Jahia, we don’t mess with GDPR compliancy. This is a serious matter and we are working hard to help our customers to be ready for May 25th. Discover how.
